The Driving force behind, and owner of "Freespirits" is Steve Thomas, who has been involved in outdoor activities for 18 years. He joined HM Forces in 1982 and served all over the world with the Royal Marines Adventure Training Team.

He left the forces in 1991 and took on the management role in a large outdoor center in Highland Perthshire. After spending three years in that role, he decided to start out on his own with Freespirits being the result.

Steve is a Mountain Expedition Leader, Raft Guide Trainer and Kayak Instructor. He is also qualified in climbing and abseiling, skiing, parachuting and mountain first aid.

The company boasts a 100% safety record, all activities being run to deliver maximum enjoyment and excitement but never compromising safety.

Freespirits is one of the UK 's leading and premier activity provider. This makes it a great day out for families as well as larger group bookings. We have a very happy crew who all get on great together and this makes for fun and enjoyable trips.
