WHITE WATER RAFTING FUNDRAISING
Freespirits are the longest running and most experienced White Water Rafting providers in Scotland. We have been organising rafting fundraising events since 1994 and have taken a number of different charities on a variety of rivers in that time.
Our attention to detail, customer care and awareness are second to none, as can be verified within our testimonials. The events themselves can be run in a number of different ways, as a race against other teams, as a normal rafting trip or a mixture of both. We also have a restaurant opposite the centre in which catering requirements can be taken care of.
Costs for these events are dependant upon numbers of participants, catering requirements and time of year, but can be as little as £280.00 for a team of 8.
All safety equipment, instruction and event management is included in the price. Contact us to find out about prices and what kind of fundraising activities you can do.
If you are interested in taking part please get in touch with the Charities directly to book onto the event and get the fundraising information.
The two weekends with 47 tems taking part are likely to raise over £60K in total which is a fantstic achievement for the teams and such a massive boost to the charity and the work we do. The 'Freespirits team' play a hugely significant part in making this happen and hence to help those affected by chest, heart and stroke illness; thank you all. For my part I would like to thank, most sincerely, Andy, my 'mentor', up on the gantry who realised my absolute fear of heights and who gave me space, time and lots of calm encourangement before I finally 'let go'. No rush, no come on you're holding everyone up, but a 'when you're ready... take your time to get it together' kind of attitude. It was also kind of him to shout encourangement as I decended. I make no bones about it, I was terrified, but with Andy's encouragement I made it. Please pass my deap gratitude on to this kind man - I'm sure he will remember me for all the wrong reasons. Thank you to all your team for making it happen and for all the fabulous contributions you helped raise for all the good causes. My son in law had a stroke in January and is now making a recovery to near normality, the treatment he received is in part I'm sure due to your good works, thank you.
