All guides have been trained and assessed by Steve to his very exacting standards and all are currently well within their sell by date.
No need, everybody wears a buoyancy aid so you can float away till your heart's content.
None whatsoever!! Each raft is being helmed by a qualified guide who will teach you the basic skills you require and guide you safely down the river.
You have to be 6 years old to go rafting on the River Tay (10-12yrs+ if high water) and 16 years old for the River Tummel or any of the Grade 5 rivers that we run. As there are a few rivers that we run that are very weather dependent we offer a 'best river day' trip. Depending on the water levels on that day we choose what river would be the best. If you have one in mind then let us know and we would run that one if possible that day. The Orchy, the Morriston and the Braan are better in nice high water.
Freespirits will provide you with a wetsuit, buoyancy aid, and helmet.

Can I express my thanks on behalf of all the lads from the stag doo party on Sunday for an amazing experience. Maybe you remember us as the group with the guy with the bowling shoes! The quality, humour and attitude of the instructors was fantastic. They made it a superb activity and great day for all of us. the photo's of us surfing the last rapid are going to be blown up and put out on the wedding day. Next time we want the big dogs on the River Tummel!!
